Olympics Events Continue this Weekend

Friday night (16 September) sees the senior basketball at the school - age groups 12/14 and 15/16, entries will be accepted on the night, mixed teams accepted. The event kicks off at 5.30pm;

Saturday (17 September) see the junior rounders at the school - age group 10/11 at 9am and age group 7/9 at 1pm;

Sunday (18 September) see two events: senior netball at the school (15/16 at 9am and 12/14 at 11am); and swimming at Saddleworth pool (9/11 at 2pm and seniors at 6pm).

2009 Olympics have Started!

Thanks to everyone for turning up to Churchill for the start of the 2009 Saddleworth Village Olympics.
It may have rained a little but everyone carried on regardless.

Thanks to everyone who came to support the events this weekend

- especially those who braved the bogs and puddles at Churchill to support the Netball
 

Churchill Fields

We've had quite a few events cancelled this year because the state of Churchill Playing fields.
Thanks to Jill who captured the moment perfectly when she snapped these ducks splashing around in the large pools of water in the middle of the Rugby field.

As there were seven of them, it seemed just perfect to have one for each village!
